Great place to hike and get away. Keep an eye out during different hunting seasons. Conservation areas are great unknown treasures in Missouri. This area has at least three different main entrances. This one is just south of Pierpont
This is great trail. The markers are hard to follow so be careful. I saw people that were lost, and would not take anyone's advice.
A real nice place to hold your family events and it's A nice location with a great surroundings like in the country will use it again in the future
As a public natural resource I would like to give this area five stars, but due to the inaccuracy of MDC's map of the Turkey Creek Interpretive Nature Trail, I took away a star. The map is particularly inaccurate in the area immediately surrounding the parking lot for the trail, making it difficult to get one's hike off on the right foot. While we had a delightful time getting slightly lost, it could be a real problem if hiking with young children.
This a nice trail. Part of it was closed this weekend. There is a cave you can get to, but there is a great deal of itch weed along the way.
