Barry at Alpine Park and Gardens did an incredible job on our wedding on Oct 22, 2017. We live in Colorado, so planning our wedding from afar was a big challenge. We were drawn to Alpine for the beautiful scenery and the all-inclusive nature of Barry's package. He enticed us with his promise of good down-home cooking and gorgeous jade plants, and he was willing to work with us to put together exactly what we were wanting. As a type-A person, I have to admit that Barry's laid-back attitude made me a little nervous, but he is a true professional and pulled it together seamlessly on the big day. He made it all appear effortless, but I know that the end product was the result of his 25 years of experience with weddings. The day was great from beginning to end. The bridal room was beautiful and included a lighted makeup station, private bar, and a giant mirror that was great for pictures. My bridesmaids all commented on how cute it was. Barry was flexible on setup, and by the time I arrived on site, the tables were dressed and everything looked beautiful. Barry's price per head on food was significantly lower than any Columbia caterer, and the brisket, turkey, and sides were seriously the best wedding food I have ever eaten. It actually rained on our wedding day, but we were able to find a window for the outdoor ceremony, and Barry kept everyone comfortable with space heaters and curtains in the pavilion. He put out a lovely coffee/hot chocolate bar and even soup and grilled cheese for a snack to keep everyone feeling toasty. We never even asked him to put out the soup -- he just did it. We had a couple of older family members at our wedding who can't sit for long periods of time in folding chairs, and Barry set out a recliner and rocking chair from his own home with blankets to keep them comfortable before and during the reception. The kids at our wedding had a blast running around the venue, and even the adults enjoyed feeding the fish in the koi pond. Everybody kept saying how unique and beautiful the park was. Justin, the DJ, was fun and easy, and it was a relief to have him take charge of the reception schedule so we could just enjoy. All in all, I can't even imagine how the day could have been better. I'm just so happy that we decided to have our wedding in the most beautiful place in Missouri.

We had the most awesome wedding thanks to Barry & his staff at Alpine. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with a laid-back vibe and darn good food (seriously, try Barry's brisket and mac n cheese), take a drive out to Alpine. The grounds are gorgeous, the decor is fun, and Barry is just great to work with. It rained cats and dogs at our wedding, and we still had a fantastic time. Best place to get married in mid-Missouri, hands down.

Alpine Park and Gardens was my number one pick of Wedding Venues in the Columbia area. I couldn't have been happier than I was the day I married my husband May 27, 2012. This place is just magical, like right out of a movie. Even on a hot day its not that bad because you have all the shade from all the beautiful trees. Our wedding photos turned out so good with all the great backdrops and scenery. Barry was absolutely amazing to work with. Anything I needed help with he was right there to lend a hand. Maybe one day my husband and I can celebrate our Anniversary out there.

I have no complaints about Barry with Alpine Park and Gardens. He went above and beyond our expectations to give us the wedding of our dreams, which was September 1st, 2013. The food was amazing and at a lower price per head than most venues in town. He didn't nickel and dime us, and he was fair throughout the entire process. The venue is beautiful, especially when lit up at night. You don't need to spend a ton with a florist as the grounds are naturally green and full of plants and flowers. Our pictures turned out amazing and we didn't have to travel all around town to take them because there are so many great places to shoot right on site. It saved us so much time on our big day which was essential. Thank you Barry, it couldn't have been more perfect!!

Our experience with Alpine Park and Gardens was fantastic! We got the all inclusive package, and Barry set us up with a DJ, photographer, florist, and did all of the catering and probably more that we cannot remember. Barry was very easy-going and flexible, making the day and planning run smoothly and everyone he referred to us was equally accommodating. Besides the amazing service, the grounds were also beautiful and the reception area was setup and cleaned by Barry's crew (which was also beautiful). Anybody looking for a laid-back, hassle-free wedding should get married at Alpine Park and Gardens!
