January came and went. No word from Keith. I called in early February and he came out to discuss my project. He asked that I take pictures of the landscape and email to him. I did the very next day yet I never heard back. I referred a friend that needed a retaining wall at the same time. Fast forward over a week and neither of us have heard a peep from Keith. I emailed Mollie at the office and she said he would call me. Nothing.
From a job review perspective, it wasn't an easy job by any means (understatement). However, the Boss man payed me well enough ($9/hour starting in 2015). Jobs must be completed correctly or the Boss man will make sure you know it wasn't done correctly (again, understatement). Sometimes I wondered if he knew I was working as best and efficiently as I knew how. My only complaint is hearing protection is pretty much never used. If you respect the boss, he will respect you. Be prepared for hard work and long-ish hours if you work all day.
Do yourself a favor and move on. Oasis is just another shotty poorly ran landscape company.

I contacted Oasis in October of 2014 as I really wanted a one stop shop for most of my lawn care needs. I needed someone to mow, handle my leaves, open and close my sprinkler, as well as complete some landscaping projects I needed done over time.
This is her response:
I worked at Oasis for 4 months as a summer job. As someone who worked there, the quality of the work we did was some of the best if not the best landscaping work done in Columbia. Corners were never cut, the jobs were completed. From what I observed from my job site supervisors interactions with clients, they were kind and courteous. I mostly worked general landscaping and irrigation, I can't speak for spraying, snow removal and other things they do. As someone who worked there, I would pay them to take care of my future yard.
I requested weed, fertilizer, grub and insect control. They sprayed for weeds and did fertilizer. The weeds remained. I told them I wasn't satisfied. They came out again and sprayed but the weeds remained. They never sprayed for insects. They finally sprayed for grubs a month later. I cancelled them and they charged me the full amount over 200 dollars. Part of the charge was for them to come back out the second time to spray for weeds from my request. They even advertise re spraying if not satisfied. To top it all off they never send you the bill until you call them up asking for it 2 weeks later. Bad business as far as I can tell.
I decided to email Keith and Mollie this time cordially expressing my frustration in the lack of communication.
He thinks it's probably best if you find another contractor for your job because he doesn't think we can meet your expectations at this time. We already have multiple jobs on the calendar that carried over from 2014, so it's likely that we can't get to your job until springtime.
Now that Keith spent the last 4 months wasting my time I likely have to wait until spring as all of the good landscapers are booked.
Leaf removal was per guy by the hour. They both dollied around for almost 5 hours. I've done the whole yard in 6 hours by myself. Albeit, i paid the overpriced bill.

When he left he said he would call me in January to get me on the schedule for the landscape projects and directed me to contact their office to schedule some guys to come out and pick up my fallen leaves.
