I have taken lessons with Liz on and off for the last 20 years. Her insight into horse and rider pairs is exceptional, as is the quality of her instruction. I jokingly refer to her as Dressage Yoda, as she can help you improve so much in each lesson. I highly recommend taking lessons with her, you will not be disappointed.
Liz has been instrumental in helping me develop as a rider. There is no detail too small and I've had firsthand experience in seeing her skill at teaching riders on very different types of horses. If you are serious about improving your position and skill on the horse (as well as your relationship with your horse), Liz is the instructor to go to.
Liz is a phenomenal dressage instructor and the facility is terrific. She works with all kinds of horses and levels of riders. She is tough but finds ways of encouraging the rider and horse. I highly recommend dressage for all riders and particularly recommend Liz Hotchkiss and Stony Hill Farm.
