Anybody see the problem with that?
Not very satisfied with Meeks. They advertised via a flyer in the newspaper recently and I went there to buy some bags of top soil.
I spent 8 years in residential construction, so I've ordered and hung a lot of doors. Placed order in person for 4 interior split jam pre-primed doors of various sizes and swings. They made and had ready before their estimated completion date, and weeks before my need by deadline. Their staff was helpful wrapping up and loading the doors upon request.
I installed 1 door a couple weeks ago, and the quality is exceptional. I would recommend Meek's door shop for anyone looking for quality interior doors. They are reasonably priced, and a higher quality than you'll generally get at a national box home improvement store.
Additionally, they were just bags of dirt. It's not as though I wanted some weird item that only fits a particular model. I wanted 40lb bags of top soil for crying out loud!
I go to the main counter and the gentleman (who was very nice) said they don't stock many of the items advertised in the flyer because they're so far out of town they don't get many people in the store that ask for those things.
Now, if they sold out of an item, OK. But to advertise and then not stock those items at all... that's somebody sleeping at the wheel.
Probably not going back to Meeks unless they have something IN STOCK that other hardware stores don't have...
